In a growing season marred by heat and fire throughout much of California, Corralitos’ temperate and relatively isolated Pleasant Valley managed to largely avoid both. Under the careful stewardship of Prudy Foxx, Saveria vineyard produced an absolutely fantastic crop in an otherwise troubled year.
Made with minimal new oak, the 2020 Saveria Pinot Noir sings with vivid red fruit and bracing acidity-- two of Saveria’s signature characteristics. She’s fresh, lively and structured for the long haul in your cellar, while still being relatively approachable now.
Due to low yields in a challenging vintage year, this was the largest production we made for the year, at only 200 cases. There’s not a lot of 2020 Pinot Noir, but what we did get is really fun and special. Enjoy!
